Effective date: September 7, 2026 Provider: AppSquach (the "AppSquach service", "we", "us") Contact: support@appsquach.com · https://appsquach.com/
By downloading, installing, or using AppSquach (the "app") you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract. AppSquach is a general-audience utility and is not intended for children.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Google Play's terms.
AppSquach analyses the apps installed on your device and certain Android security-related signals (such as whether an app holds an enabled accessibility service, can appear over other apps, or was installed from outside an app store) and presents a risk assessment to help you decide whether an app deserves a closer look.
AppSquach is a review aid, not a guarantee.
You are responsible for your own decisions about which apps to keep or remove. AppSquach never removes an app itself; removal always goes through Android's own uninstall confirmation, which you control.
You agree not to:
The security analysis is provided "as is" and on a best-effort basis. Android limits what any normal app can observe about other apps; some capability states are only inferable from an app's declared permissions, not its actual behaviour. AppSquach does not observe the contents of other apps, does not read your keystrokes, and does not run an accessibility service. It relies on data Android exposes through supported APIs, which varies by device, manufacturer, and OS version. Do not rely on AppSquach as your sole security measure.
Family sharing works only after both devices scan a pairing code and each user confirms the same short verification code. By pairing, the person being helped authorises the helper's device to receive the safety reports and requests described in the Privacy Policy, and the helper agrees to use that access only to assist. Either side can unpair at any time, which immediately ends the trust relationship on that device. The relay never decides who trusts whom.
At the effective date of these Terms, AppSquach has no paid subscription and no in-app purchases. If a paid tier is introduced:
Until such a tier exists, ignore any pricing or "trial" wording that may appear in draft store copy.
The app, its name, and its content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in our trademarks. Bundled open-source components are licensed under their own terms, shown in the app's Open-Source Licenses screen.
We may add, change, or remove features, and may modify or discontinue the relay service, with reasonable notice where practicable. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted with a new effective date.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the service abusively. On termination the licence in §3 ends; you may still clear local data as described in the Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and the relay service are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the app will detect any or all harmful software or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 10. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the AppSquach service provider is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you use AppSquach as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, which continue to apply and take precedence over this section where they conflict with it. Nothing in these Terms limits your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where applicable law gives you that right.
